ever since the finale of "breaking bad" and "Rescue me" i've pretty much been watching anime' (cowboy bebop to be exact) and about a week ago when i was watching the golden globes, they kept goin on and on about a new series called "homeland" and it stars Damian Lewis, a Brittish actor that also starred in the excellent "Life" and "Dreamcatcher"

The series keeps playing with the audience, where we are forced to wonder if the main character is one of the good guys or bad. i seriously recommend you watch it now!!

I Definetely slept on these guys, and i feel guilty about it. This real music and its good to see more of these young cats still bringing real rap music to the table. It seems like its the age of the internet mixtape-albums. which has become a great way for artists to get exposure. It's late i know, but give them credit. just when i was about to start calling them douchebags they came through.
UB40 was supposed to come in december, when everybody was "blowing money fast". a lot of people travelled to the capital of namibia (windhoek) to come see these guys in concert. So i wasn't surprised when they had to cancel, because it was too hard to believe they were actually coming.
So when i attended the concert two weeks ago, i was so appalled that i was in there with the rest of them, jumping around
and "whipping my hair back and forth" as if a Will Smith toddler. All in all the whole thing was well organized, and there wasnt any violence at all, these guys still had the energy, the trumpeter became the crowd favorite, in that he was the most entertaining of the group..3 days of unforgettable reggae nights..

This all stems from obama's comment (@ 3:10), where he said metaphorically, that if republicans wants the keys back (in this case, majority in the senate) they can come for the ride, but the'll have to sit in the back. This is where they turned the whole thing into a rosa parks metaphor (a racial issue), where they claimed obama said "back of the bus" which wasnt the case, if you watch the video. Kno (of Cunninlynguists) - Death is silent

this album reminds me of the cunninlynguists album (a piece of strange) which also has the same tone, and is also a concept album like this. This one is good for the die hardcore fans of this man's work behind the boards (like myself) and He does most of the vocals on the all the track, and he is decent on the mic too. Faves on the album are "not at the end" featuring tunji, who is by far my favorite rookie of the year, after i heard him smash everybody with his verse on Incise's daily methods LP, "La petite mort" and "when i was young" with a guest spot from his fellow Cunninlinguists' alumni Natti. This is definetly a highly recommended listen..Real hip hop..

wow!! what a shocking season it was, from episode one, season 7 has been serious. And when ever it gets serious, its always vince who's really down and out than the rest of the guys. i just hope the final season is more fun, the way i enjoyed 1-4.

As soon as Vince started hanging around scott, i coud smell trouble from a mile away..and now what did he get? a break up from a pornstar, getting beat up by eminem and his goons, and from what i saw he could be facing jail-time for possession..now the question remains, will he still make that air-walker superhero movie?

The first theory is that a ramp was built on one side of the pyramid and as the pyramid grew, the ramp was raised so that throughout the construction, blocks could be moved right up to the top. If the ramp were too steep, the men hauling the blocks would not be able to drag them up. An 8-percent slope is about the maximum possible, and this is the problem with the single ramp theory. With such a gentle incline, the ramp would have to be approximately one mile long to reach the top of the pyramid. But there is neither room for such a long ramp on the Giza Plateau, nor evidence of such a massive construction. Also, a mile-long ramp would have had as great a volume as the pyramid itself, virtually doubling the man-hours needed to build the pyramid. Because the straight ramp theory just doesn't work, several pyramid experts have opted for a modified ramp theory.

So the guy wakes up with a hangover and starts blabbing about how namibia's gonna have a tremendous earthquake in my home country..obviously the first thing every one can believe, if not answers from a google search, its everything from the mouths of these so called television "prophets" who claim to get messages from god.
For a minute a few hours there was a lot of hysteria..and chaos on facebook!!! annoying the hell of me.
My first question to the whole thing when i saw the video on youtube was, howcome homeboy looks like a muslim, but is talking about "god" this and "god" that? i thought muslims were supposed to say "allah" this, and "allah" that..
At the end of the day, what i thought to myself after this whole fiasco, was that this whole thing can be regarded as terrorism..because the guy basically terrorised the people of namibia..and that goes out to all the "prophets"..how come they dont predict good things, only bad things..next time this guy does it again, im gonna light that beard on fire..stop wasting my time!!!

A hundred dollars for every namibian, regardless of wealthy or poor the person might be? that's the most annoying sarcasm i've ever heard, and when i enquired, i was told its wasnt sarcasm, but it was in fact serious..Seriously? what the hell are you smoking?
A collective know as big came up with a proposal, to give every namibian a hundred dollar bill, which would apparently sustain them during trying times (hunger,being broke..among other things). Apart from the humorous scathing comments made by the president a few weeks ago about this issue, i have some comments of my own and why i think it's ridiculous how this whole thing was la-d out in the beginning.
What this "BIG" collective were supporse to focus at on their blueprint was to look at salary scales of people in the country and those who are considered disadvanted as priority number one, similar to the welfare grants/food stamps that have worked for countries like the united states, instead of giving 100 dollar bills to the so-called "fat cats" or already advantaged people who might not need the money.. this would eventually also help pensioners get reasonable grants monthly to sustain themselves in this ever rising inflation infested country..in history of politics a government is never to be too sympathetic to whoever cries "gimme sympathy" it's a sign of weakness..because at the end of the day, if these individuals turn out to be crying wolf, the government loses millions of dollars (look at what happened to Zimbabwe when land was given to dudes who have no clue about farming). So it's not to say that it's not a good idea, but to me it seemed more like an idea which was still in a brainstorming phase..so it's back to the drawing board for "BIG!"

nudity in films, is just an attempt by filmmakers to get the audience talking. and talking in this case brings about more interest from people who havent seen the said films, and this makes the movie somewhat a success finacially, even if it was initially panned by critics.
what is interesting though is the fact that nudity in film is mainly targeting hot-blooded teens past puberty, giving them a film they could help themselves to, choking the bishop when no one's looking. By this i mean, nudity in films almost always portray girls, barenaked and..while dudes are normally fully clothed, or just got their vests off. and what's our excuse? we are celebrating the beauty of women bodies..seriously..

It happens wherever you go, "homeground advantage" we call it. when you are in your hometown the love you get is astounding, from the love you get from everybody around, people you havent seen in a while. It's almost paradise. even in soccer, look at the love manchester gets in old trafford..you will notice certain individuals, who are desperate to go back to their hometowns, because thats their utopia, where they are confident and well respected, and they can rant about their imaginary success "in the big city" . you will notice that these characters, avoid persons who know them well, and every once in a while when they meet the latter, it's often hilarious the way they react..Kind of reminds me of the series LOST where there's a character named "Locke" who's like a commando on the island where they are lost at. But when he hears that there could be a submarine to rescue them from the island, he panics and blows up the sub. he doesnt wanna go back to the real world..hilarious!!!
It's all good and fun, but the trick is to get out before the chips are down, it's good to get out while it's still nice, so that you have an excuse to come back again...come to think of it..i havent been there in a while, i gotta go pack my bags and go see my hometown..

Being dissapointed by someone takes a long time for you to heal, especially if you trusted that person so much, and at the end of the day, you are the one to look like an idiot. It's sad because what makes the whole thing so unfair is that, you become paranoid, and it's gonna take time for you to really trust anyone again, you might get close to someone as far as friendship is concerned, but as soon as you get too close you end up distancing yourself, because you dont wanna see yourself in that situation you had earlier.
Dissapointments come in different circumstances, it could be heartbreak..it could be rape..friendship..etc. you start thinking of the humiliation, shame, and. your heart could tell you to get out there and mingle, but you just aint sure that you are ready yet..it's as if you are still in repair..you aint together, but you are getting there..
