Album of the week..
M83 - Hurry up we are dreaming
this bad i can only describe as a mix beween Bloc Party and Editors, and the ernegy of arctic monkeys. i came to know of this band while i was watching "how to make it in america" the music supervisor (Scott Vener) did a great job, he also did music supervision for entourage..i've never been this excited about an indie album since "Silent Alarm" by bloc party.

rudeboy shufflin..
So we are told all over that the badboy of RAGGA Vybz kartel had escaped from prison and is on the run with seven other inmates with a corrections officer dead..and my question to this whole mess is "Why". this is the same question i've been asking whenever rappers also get into these types of predicaments. How do you get yourself into such bullshit when you have an image to maintain, and millions of funds to blow while you are still not senile.*sigh* meh, then again maybe these guys are just fabricating their millions and are just peasants like us, no wonder they will get to rudeboy shuffle the shit out of situations..

My Will..
Word of advice..whenever you decide to write your will..do so in a manner that the people you put on there do not find it lying around in your house. Because whatever they see in there will set forward a series strange events that will leave you wondering who your true friends/family are/is. Because god willing these people find out what is there in black and white ink, i don't care what "muti" protects you, something is bound to happen to you, be it being scolded, killed, having you killed, poisoned and what have you. Also keep your policy papers away too..because you are looking for trouble. Money is a very dangerous thing it messes with your mind, same as obama did to americans with that "hope" gimmick..oh and by the way the song has nothing to do with the topic at hand..im just saying..

Rapsody - For everything
Have you ever had a chick that confided in you as a friend and in return you get an erection, but you dont have the balls to tell because u been friends for a while? thats what i feel when i listen to this mixtape.. i'd probably recommend listening to "aint worthy" my favorite. i havent heard a chick go hard like this since the days of lauryn hill before the marley infection.

keep it warm for ya..
*sigh* Now im not saying that im anti women, jeeezus chrrrrist give me a break. Its women abuse this, women abuse that. When you look at certain situations, you'll understand. i've seen this shit happen in front of my eyes..and of course in the hood. it always starts the same. a dude is always getting slapped around for some apparent shit he did (cheating most probably), and the dude is always tring to avoid the fighting back..then more insults are hurled, but dude ignores that shit and goes the other direction. then dude gets hit on the back with stick. Thats when shit hits the fan and the dude becomes a nigga, and this nigga retaliates with a back handed slap. Now you tell me..who's the victim here? like i said i dont support violence against women, but sometimes a nigga can only take so much...but then again i heard make-up sex is the shit and there are actually some people out there who engage in deliberate fights with their significant others just for the make up sex...well..i guess i'll never know since my fetish has always been sex on the beach with Roselyn Sanchez.
Album of the week..
Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto
Coldplay's album dropped last week, and its exactly what i've expected all along, besides the rihanha feature. Iwas kind caught off guard when Chris Martin mentioned that the record was partly inspired by the HBO series "The Wire" (which u should get on DVDs by the way, if u haven't).

Last Dance with Mary-Jane..
I only tried weed twice and i knew right away it wasn't for me, when i took it my heart started racing, as if having a panic attack, also having a feeling that someone's watching me (like that Rockwell song, dude probably smoked some too to make a song like that), the music seems to feel real, and the second time i took a hit i was listening to ODB, so as i was listening to Shimmy Shimmy yaa, its almost as if ODB was there with me. Thats when i realized, weed was not for me. that was my last dance with mary-jane, i'll stick to Heineken thank you very much..

Bad things..
The arrest of an American man who broke into a woman's house and tried to suck her blood over the weekend has sparked discussion about the impact of vampire books and movies on youth culture.
Whether pop culture played a role in the attack remains to be seen, as 19-year-old Lyle Monroe Bensley awaits a psychiatric evaluation in jail on burglary charges in Galveston, Texas.
Found growling and hissing in a parking lot and wearing only boxer shorts, the pierced and tattooed Bensley claimed he was a 500-year-old vampire who needed to "feed," Galveston Police Capt. Jeff Heyse said.

Fly.Union - The Greater Than Club
I Definetely slept on these guys, and i feel guilty about it. This real music and its good to see more of these young cats still bringing real rap music to the table. It seems like its the age of the internet mixtape-albums. which has become a great way for artists to get exposure. This is trully a great album, though at time one might think Big Sean is rapping at times, because of a similar flow in certain songs, but i guess thats a compliment because Sean is vicious on the mic as well

one of the best releases of the year thus far, among the rising trend of free internet albums. Though i still regard "George Kush: Da button" to be his best album, this one stands on its own..and im sure its gonna get a lot of airplay on april 20..highlights of the album include "The World" "The early days of george" "how far we go" featuring kendrick lamar.

Precious..
MY PRECIOUS by *Bereaved on deviantART
we tend to hold on to things, and i think that how we end up messing up with things
its one thing to rember something, but saying that i could've done this, and should have done that doesnt help but keep you in the past, what matters is NOW. what are you going to do now, what are you planning to do today. Are you planning to stop using condoms to the girl you been dating for a month, or are you planning
to skip paying rent because your landlord is a douchbag, or are you planning on plotting revenge on the assholes that bullied you during your high school days when you were still a puny pathetic excuse of a "troll" as charlie sheen
mentions it..decide now..in the mean time, be you until the song "precious" suffices..

The way you do the things you do..
windhoek 2030 by ~SuN-zILLa on deviantART
It's late i know, but give them credit. just when i was about to start calling them douchebags they came through.
UB40 was supposed to come in december, when everybody was "blowing money fast". a lot of people travelled to the capital of namibia (windhoek) to come see these guys in concert. So i wasn't surprised when they had to cancel, because it was too hard to believe they were actually coming.
So when i attended the concert two weeks ago, i was so appalled that i was in there with the rest of them, jumping around
and "whipping my hair back and forth" as if a Will Smith toddler. All in all the whole thing was well organized, and there wasnt any violence at all, these guys still had the energy, the trumpeter became the crowd favorite, in that he was the most entertaining of the group..3 days of unforgettable reggae nights..
