Youngblood..
It's good to always go and do what your heart tells you, but most of us only do this with wishful thinking and never actually go do what our hearts tell us, After watching "The Art Of flight" during this past weekend, i had a sense of what it must feel like to be free and courageous enough to do what makes you free. The wholevisual experience of Travis Rice and his crew snowboarding through several mountains around the world, makes you feel like you are right there with them, kudos to the director of the documentary, for such great imagery, makes me wanna become a snowboarder. And the Music complimented the scenes so well. Check out the trailer below

Album of the week.
Nas - Life is good
Nas comes back with a solid release, not to shit on Untitled, but i think this album is better and mature, but at the same time contradicts itself in that it revisits, similar production from the 90's making it, at times comparable with "It was Written" in terms of flow, and delivery. The shins - Port of morrow
The shins are back. After their 2007 release, their front man went on and released an album (broken Bells 2010) and an ep (meyrin flields 2011) with dangermouse on a side project called broken bells. now back to the old formular with catchy tunes like "40 mark strasse" "it's only life" "the rifle's spiral" the album is filled with melodies all the way through..

A lot of albums came out recently and its hard to take a pick of the week, i was gonna put Large professor's "professor @ large" but then i listened to wordworth's "the photo album" is was a well rounded album lyrically, sonically and delivery. you can remember, this is the same dude who murdered every track on the EMC album back in '08

Is that you god..
why is it that people only start believing in god when they get into trouble or on the verge of dying..i never could understand this, even these so called born agains..if you do a background check on them you will always find that the person was either a hoodlum, whore, hustler or something else in a negative light. Never will you ever just get a straight up person that just goes and gets baptised without him/or having done some serious shit way back when.

I been following OC's music since he hit hard on Marco Polo's "Port Authority" album. i was impressed at his delivery and flow. and i've been checking his material since then. Apollo Brown is also one of the best producers and i've listened to his "Reset" album. and the production he did on Boog Brown's album "Brown study" was top notch.

Jack White - Blunderbuss
I've been following whatever Jack White's been doing since the white stripes released their debut album. but i wasn't much of a fan of The Dead Weather. I've always been fascinated by his guitar play, which he shows on this album on the song "freedom st 21" on his solo effort, aptly titled Blunderbuss. Why he named it that, i have no idea, but the gesture probably got the NRA doing the Conan O'brien rain-dance. Good ass album, definitely worth checking out

If you liked Damian Marley and Nas's song "Patience" and ever wondered where the sample was coming from, you should know it was from Amadou and Mariam's song called "Sabali" from their album called "Welcome to Mali". Let the show begin..
Last we checked Ned stark was dead. Beheaded by newly crowned king of the iron throne Joffry for apparent treason, when Ned Stark claimed (while bringing forth Robert Baratheon's will) Joffry was not the rightful air to the iron throne. Daenarys was left wondering around after Khal Drogo died after fighting an opposer and an interesting encounter with a witch. Jaime Lannister remained captive at the hands of the Starks for a trade. Arya managed to escape with the assistance of Yoren a recruiter at the Night's Watch.
New characters were introduced in the already air two episodes and now it seems four self declared kings are waging war, and going after the Iron throne..brace yourselves..war is coming, let the show begin..

The Bill collector..
It always starts as a phone call from some telemarketer telling you that you've been referred by someone close to you, and then they start with the reasons why they think you should sign up to whatever they are selling. After 20 minutes of agonizing "yes" and "no" questions, one always ends up just rushing up the conversation and submitting to whatever it is they are selling. But when you skip a payment, then they start with that bullshit about how "this call may be recorded" , and how you should pay before they take you to their legal department..and ..blah blah blah! So why am i talking about this you ask? It's because the annoying thing is that when you in the shop and you decide to pay your bill, right after you pay they tell you that you can still take some more shit on credit, Being that there's some good stuff in the shit you fall for the trap, and then the whole thing starts all over again..*sigh* I wanna be Warren Buffet in my next life!!

Going through changes..
Watching the latest trends, you start to see a lot of different styles come back, with the music (Dance/Electronica), fashion (a lot of loud colors) among a lot of other stuff. Even movies have started rebooting original concepts (Rambo IV, Superman Returns, Rocky Balboa). Have we become so bored at our environment so much that we are starting to recycle way of living?
I wonder how long its gonna take for money to go back to the barter system. It will be very interesting to see how economics work then.

Through the wire..
Every time i watch shows like "Game of thrones" or "Rome" or "The Borgias" I cant help but notice how sexual and barbaric these shows are, to my bitter-sweet enjoyment. Kinda makes one think how long the human race has come, in terms of civilization. But then again, I'm told the Greeks invented ass-fucking..so what do i know.
Det. William 'Bunk' Moreland: Boy, them Greeks and those twisted-ass names.
Off. James 'Jimmy' McNulty: Man, lay off the Greeks. They invented civilization.
Det. William 'Bunk' Moreland: Yeah? Ass-fucking, too

In the morning..
Have you ever noticed how, when you wake up in the morning you feel amped up for the day and you actually
start thinking of how focused you'll be for the day, Or you start thinking about how from today you gonna have a brand new state of mind, only to reach your office and some random ass backward compatible muh'fucker spoils your day, or the boss chews your ass up for something the aforementioned backward compatible douchebag did wrong, and you back to square one. Its never a good thing when you are surrounded negative people, it slows down Charles Darwin's theory of evolution, Which is change. Body & Soul..
Honestly, i dont know if im getting old(its a rethorical statement, i know) but sheeeit! what the hell
happened to real R&B. That's why i miss the 90's. A dude could listen to Toni Braxton and ride out and it could still be cool, no homo. a dude could rock jean shorts (i never did) and it was considered cool, no homo. The 90's was colorful.you could have a whole rainbow in your attire and it was cool, no homo. I still wonder what the hell happened to that viscose material, it was big back then..*cough* anyway moving on..
I like the fact that Joe Thomas is still as good as when he started. The latest release is a breath of fresh air. And your boy Donell Jones did not dissapoint either.Lyrics was a return to form. Maxwell too..but that album (black summer's night) was too short. Keith Sweat did a fine job too..less autotune please. Melodious Monk - The Forbidden Drug
All i can say is that i've never been this excited about a hip-hop album since Masta Ace's A Long hot summer came out. Exactly what i've been missing from hip-hop since 2005, substance, lyrics and good story telling. A Concept album based on "The forbidden drug" and its effects on society.. nobody knows who this "Monk" is,but he kind of sounds like Vast Aire from cannibal OX at times. He handles all production, mixing and masting his own music since his first album and from what i hear on this, i will definetely check out his discography.

talk that talk..
Bla BlA BlA... by ~ptits-p0is on deviantART *sigh* Telemarketers...are the new Jehovah witness. why I say that is because it seems the number of Jehovah's witness at your door step has become a thing of the past, and I cant remember the last time I was pestered by those aforementioned self important zealots. why that trend has diminished, I have no idea..but all the clues suggest physical violence. I mean who in their right mind goes to someone's home and start preaching about the "word of the lord" without bringing a gift basket..see people like free things if this was the case, a lot of people would open doors to Jehovah witness mongers, and avoid physical violence.. but that's one thing..now enter telemarketers.. The nerve of these people. calling you at work, and talk that talk, until you decide to put them on speaker and proceed working.adding insult to injury, they have the audacity to ask for bank details on the phone..i mean DUDE!! seriously, you call me with an unlisted number, talk jibberish and expect me to hand over sensitive information?..NEGRO PLEASE!!! send me them documents via fax or email, let me review that sh** and see if you are as good as your word..its broad daylight for Christ's sake!!
