Maintain..

Man..i swear i if hear another fool talk about their resolution for the year i better have an raptured aneurism in my brain, because if i dont.. i'm gonna slap the taste out of any fool who tells me their cheesy ass pledges for the year.
These are some of the ones i get to hear every year:

1. "I'm going to quit drinking this year"
This is probably the most irritating, unoriginal, cheeziest line i keep hearing every year, i mean F**k if you blew you money drinking dont try to rush and cover up that fact, just to be assumed to be a responsible person..talk is cheap! i'll believe when i see it damn it.what people instead ignore to mention is that "damn january is a mutha..i'm not gon drink because i aint got sh** and i'm waiting to get back on my feet again..and until then i'm gonna chill on the alcohol"

2."Settle all my debts"
now this one is just plain stupid.. i mean everybody knows that as long as you are a tax payer debts are always gonna be there..true story you cant live without debts man trust me all you can do is probably settle your damn arrears and what have you cant buy everything cash man..thats a figment of your imagination..

3. "Eat healthy!"
you are still alive arent you? i mean if you werent eating healthy i could've been at your cremation last year, so stop being so conceited, because believe me there are far worse issues happening to people and you dont wanna know..

4."Have a new look"
straight bullshit! who you trying to be man?be your self dawg.. as long as you took a shower, got some good clothes (prince pants dont count), your breath dont stink, cologne and roll-on you straight bruh..

5."Change my attitude"
well..that depends on what you mean by attitude..if you mean you are in your mid thirties and you are still wearing baggy jeans and durags then yah you definetely need to grow up dawg..its about time you had a wake up call...you aint a kid no more..GROW UP!
So next time you try to tell me your resolutions think it through..come up with something original..or keep it to yourself..you dont need to tell me just hang the list in you room somewhere..and maintain it

Slow down..

mustang_race
by Donramill

Either we are going back to the stone age or hopefully it's just a phase, because drivers everywhere (epecially here, windhoek) are starting to behave like neanderthals. People reach traffic lights and just speed through that motherf**ker and its about to turn red..where are your manners? do you drive like that on your planet? i mean what's so important that you need to get to and risk the lives of people other than yourself, what? did you shit yourself or you just ate bad beans last night and you forgot to take a sh*t in the morning? and you are now in dire need of a lavatory? come on man...besides that's what being late means. That you are late.Even if you speed up you are already late, late is late and that is that god dammn it..next time learn to switch off your tv early and get rid of that remote..sleep early, wake up early go to work early and evrybody's happy..

Position of power..

Politics are just as arrogant as golf. They both have one thing in common, they are mindless. In the sense that in golf, you got these assholes putting and putting the whole day trying to hit a little ball into holes it never wanted to go in the first place. Politics on the other hand, tend blow little issues out context..

Take the zimbabwe situation. everybody thought mugabe was the only bad guy, but now Tsvangirai is becoming a nuisense over nonsense..he's getting a big head, he wants more power..aarrrgh!! i dont even take these guys seriously anymore, its like a publicity stunt to get them into hollywood or some sh*t, or i could be wrong let me live it at that..

And the winner is..

And the winner is....my man..the first black president of the united states, self declared "little skinny black boy with a funny name",yours trully, Barack Obama has ignited hope and inspiration in people accross the world, america proves once again that, through obstacles one can still achieve his goals, And Mccain gave a very powerful example of this through his speech this morningEven though he faces many challenges ahead, i hope he continues to inspire the uninspired and give hope to those who feel like letting go. It's also kinda cool that Kenyan head of state Mwai Kibaki is gonna declare tomorrow (thursday) a holiday in Kenya to pay tribute to Obama..on that note i sign of with a fist raised above high..

Gentleman's affair

Kudos to windhoek lager for snatching Louis Gossett jr. to
do promos for the best beer in all of southern africa. This is definetly a good move in terms of international sales. He Is A well respected actor who has won a supporting actor academy award, and a well-known prominent figure featured in a lot of afro-centric feature films..

Hell..namibia breweries(whk lager especially)has already achieved its goal(in terms of sales in africa) now they are simply expanding their horizons to the world at large..and with Louis Gossett on tv doing promos for this shindig, i'm guessing there's gonna
be a alot of money for Namibia Breweries to squander on competitions for all namibian drunkards marauding the nights of the city that is windhoek..

The Necessary Evils..

here's an interesting analogy about the dangers drugs have
brought on poor people..

The Wolf: Excerpt of Speech by Omali Yeshitela

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Drug Economy Imposed on African People

"So InPDUM has exposed this whole question of the drug economy. You got folks who are stuffed into these prisons all around the country who don't even understand why they are there. Many of them think it was their idea that they are there. They don't even understand that a drug economy has been imposed on our community where the legal capitalists deny African People the right to work in the legal capitalist economy. Then these same legal capitalists impose an illegal capitalist economy in the form of the drugs and you can't get a job anywhere else.

I'm told the Native People in the Arctic, in order to kill wolves take a sharp knife, melt the ice, and bury the handle in the ice and let it freeze over with the blade projecting up. They would cover the blade with blood. Wolves would smell the blade and come to try to eat. They would lick the blade. When they licked the blade they would cut their tongues and they would drink their own blood. They really were thinking that they had a lot to eat then, and of course they were drinking their own blood and killing themselves in the process.

That's what imperialism has done to our communities. It takes away the ability for you to live in a normal situation and then they bury a blade in the ice and put some blood on it. you come to lick the blade thinking that you're getting nourishment, and actually what you're doing is killing yourself in the process."

- Excerpt from, "Resistance of African People, Crisis of Imperialism:Why We must Build the National People's Democratic Uhuru Movement", by Omali Yeshitela. Heard on the Dead Prez CD, "Let's Get Free"
got it fromassatashakur.org

here's a couple songs on the subject of drug addiction and the evils we cant live without(below the pictures):

I gave you power..

Guns by shinobi @ deviantart.com

Given the events that have transpired a few days ago, I’m starting to think there should be stiffer strictness on young adults (18-35 years of age) owning guns. The last couple of years have been filled with murder suicides in the media, and all these murder suicides have been linked to that afro-mentioned age group. Are there even gun control laws in place? Owning guns seems to have become more of fashion trend than anything else.
People should not be allowed to carry guns around. Look at Botswana as an example. The crime rate there is very low, only police officials are allowed to have guns there. Here it’s like every youngin’ around the corner is brandishing an automatic weapon, looking at you sideways with a frown on the face. Come on dawg, who are you going to war with?
Most people who got guns have guns either because of the escalating rate of robberies or they’ve once been in an altercation whereby they got cornered by a flock of goons. Truth be told, it ain’t safe no more walking the streets. We’ve become prey to midnight marauders who instill fear in those who can’t defend themselves, thanks to bad television. The only way to instill fear in them is to own a gun.
The reality of the situation is that guns and problems don’t go well together, just like mixing tequila and scotch, the aftermath is a sight for sore eyes.
Few young people have faith in solving problems, or as its known “manning up” to their troubles. Guns become the only solace when everything else fails. All the while lives are destroyed, dreams are shattered, and innocent people are mourned.

Pay attention to this song about what a gun can do to people and the effects it has on society...

LaBamba: In the year 2000!
Alec Baldwin: Atheists will win a landmark court battle, making it illegal to say "God Bless You" after someone sneezes. Instead the law will require us to say, "Yo, zippy! You just sprayed me with some nasty!"

LaBamba: In the year 2000! edit »Conan: This Saturday, hundreds of adults will be throwing Harry Potter parties to celebrate the release of the new Harry Potter book. When they heard this, even Star Wars fans said, "That's pathetic." edit »Conan: This week in New York, a judge ruled that a ninety-eight year old man was not mentally sound when he got married last year. Yeah, the judge may have a point because the ninety-eight year old man married a dustbuster. edit »Conan: President Bush went to Indiana today to try to reach out to the state's black voters. Apparently, Indiana's black voters are divided: one likes Bush but the other doesn't. edit »Conan: The affiliates love it when I flash the sign of the devil. It goes over real well in the south, yeah - [Angered Southern accent] 'What the hell did he just do? I'm gonna get um' I'm gonna get him good!'
