being alive to get to celebrate your birthday is something one has to be thankful for. Especially if you were
born on the same day as tupac amaru shakur, the self proclamed thug poet.what a year it has been so far. From the haiti disaster to the earthquakes and plane accidents..
life as we know it must go on..some are crying tears while mourning, other cry tears of joy..The rebirth of slick, as i call today has arrived..it feels good to be alive!!! freedom is never free..go figure!! mother earth has given birth to a new man..and im getting ready to watch south africa battle it out on the field,with Uruguay, so im not gonna talk much, i'll just let curtis mayfield tell it:

Happy birthday..

How about that..another year has gone by as your's trully grows a year older. It's very awkward as you grow older, because you start contradicting what you always told yourself you'd never become. which is looking at life a little differently, cause you aint that little kid you used to be anymore. Being a master of your destiny is not easy if you dont know what you want because life has a lot to offer. It's like a catalog filled with all these great things to chose from. And the funny thing is that you have no one to blame but yourself if it doesnt work out the way you thought it would. No body said it would be eazy..i just hope i'll be somwhere else in life during this same time next year..peace!!
I might sound a little arrogant, i know but when you share a birthday with your number one inspiration (Tupac Shakur) it's only fair to brag about it!! rest in peace homie!!
