John Mayer is back, with his sixth #1 album after a two year hiatus, due to throat surgery. The album is different from his earlier work, and sounds more like a country album, but it still has his signature delivery.

In repair..

Being dissapointed by someone takes a long time for you to heal, especially if you trusted that person so much, and at the end of the day, you are the one to look like an idiot. It's sad because what makes the whole thing so unfair is that, you become paranoid, and it's gonna take time for you to really trust anyone again, you might get close to someone as far as friendship is concerned, but as soon as you get too close you end up distancing yourself, because you dont wanna see yourself in that situation you had earlier.
Dissapointments come in different circumstances, it could be heartbreak..it could be rape..friendship..etc. you start thinking of the humiliation, shame, and. your heart could tell you to get out there and mingle, but you just aint sure that you are ready yet..it's as if you are still in repair..you aint together, but you are getting there..

Relationships are a funny thing, because when you first get to it, it's like some people just expect it never to have hiccups or whatever. and this is where they go wrong. From the start, even if you have a good relationship, just know that one day you might have problems also, just like everybody else, after all you are still human, unless your shit dont stink.
But most folks lose their way when things turn sour,they start to look like drug addicts. They dont wanna let go. They continue to force the relationship even though its deteriorating, like slow dancing in a burning room. it's burning but you are still walking towards the case of heineken instead of saving yourself.

How to be dead..

I don't get tired of watching this movie no matter how many times I see it. I cant believe It's been over a year since it's come out, it remains on heavy rotation on my "repeat viewings list" beside TAKEN, my favorite action film yet. The film's theme delivers, it shows how fragile life is and why it shouldn't be taken for granted
If i was to wake up tomorrow to a phone call from a doctor breaking the news to me that had about a year or so to live, and provided that funds were readily available, then the next thing i would come up with will most probably be a "bucket list" of things I would like to do before I "kick the bucket"
