Youngblood..
It's good to always go and do what your heart tells you, but most of us only do this with wishful thinking and never actually go do what our hearts tell us, After watching "The Art Of flight" during this past weekend, i had a sense of what it must feel like to be free and courageous enough to do what makes you free. The wholevisual experience of Travis Rice and his crew snowboarding through several mountains around the world, makes you feel like you are right there with them, kudos to the director of the documentary, for such great imagery, makes me wanna become a snowboarder. And the Music complimented the scenes so well. Check out the trailer below

album of the week..
The shins - Port of morrow
The shins are back. After their 2007 release, their front man went on and released an album (broken Bells 2010) and an ep (meyrin flields 2011) with dangermouse on a side project called broken bells. now back to the old formular with catchy tunes like "40 mark strasse" "it's only life" "the rifle's spiral" the album is filled with melodies all the way through..

Album of the week..
School of seven bells - Ghoststory
A well rounded album that reminds me of Metric's album "fantasies". its an album that one can keep on repeat while working, or reading a magazine. After seeing rhir perfomance on Jimmy Fallon i was Immediately a fan. Stand out tracks include "The Night", "Lafaye" and "Low times"

In the morning..
Have you ever noticed how, when you wake up in the morning you feel amped up for the day and you actually
start thinking of how focused you'll be for the day, Or you start thinking about how from today you gonna have a brand new state of mind, only to reach your office and some random ass backward compatible muh'fucker spoils your day, or the boss chews your ass up for something the aforementioned backward compatible douchebag did wrong, and you back to square one. Its never a good thing when you are surrounded negative people, it slows down Charles Darwin's theory of evolution, Which is change. And change is good, to some extent but I aint talking about sex change, neither am i talking about loose change. Figure it out.

Album of the week..
M83 - Hurry up we are dreaming
this bad i can only describe as a mix beween Bloc Party and Editors, and the ernegy of arctic monkeys. i came to know of this band while i was watching "how to make it in america" the music supervisor (Scott Vener) did a great job, he also did music supervision for entourage..i've never been this excited about an indie album since "Silent Alarm" by bloc party.

Gimme sympathy..

A hundred dollars for every namibian, regardless of wealthy or poor the person might be? that's the most annoying sarcasm i've ever heard, and when i enquired, i was told its wasnt sarcasm, but it was in fact serious..Seriously? what the hell are you smoking?
A collective know as big came up with a proposal, to give every namibian a hundred dollar bill, which would apparently sustain them during trying times (hunger, being broke..among other things). Apart from the humorous scathing comments made by the president a few weeks ago about this issue, i have some comments of my own and why i think it's ridiculous how this whole thing was la-d out in the beginning.
What this "BIG" collective were supporse to focus at on their blueprint was to look at salary scales of people in the country and those who are considered disadvanted as priority number one, similar to the welfare grants/food stamps that have worked for countries like the united states, instead of giving 100 dollar bills to the so-called "fat cats" or already advantaged people who might not need the money.. this would eventually also help pensioners get reasonable grants monthly to sustain themselves in this ever rising inflation infested country..in history of politics a government is never to be too sympathetic to whoever cries "gimme sympathy" it's a sign of weakness..because at the end of the day, if these individuals turn out to be crying wolf, the government loses millions of dollars (look at what happened to Zimbabwe when land was given to dudes who have no clue about farming). So it's not to say that it's not a good idea, but to me it seemed more like an idea which was still in a brainstorming phase..so it's back to the drawing board for "BIG!"

Vicious Traditions..

Addiction is a dangerous thing,It's something you can't really control. That's why people always tend to keep it a secret, because of the effects it has on the people close to you,if you dont get help. especially when it turns out that the the addiction is somewhat hereditary, then it's possible that your kids will end up being like you, and you'll end up being haunted by that fact.
If you see "Mr. Brooks" you'll understand what i'm talking about. In this case the addiction is that he's got a killing addiction, almost the same as DEXTER. A creepy bittersweet ending with that equally creepy song pretty much sums up everything running in brrok's head. He's haunted by the fact that his kid might end up like him..closing the scene with a serenity prayer..watch it now!!

Sex on fire..

Sex is probably the best incetive one can actually have the opportunity to enjoy when during the whole man/woman thing. It's hard to actually get girls that can tell you they wanna have consesual casual sex with you with no strings attached without alcahol indirectly being involved in the whole situation.
Since the time it's been suggested that sex is healthy, dude's have found new ways to come up with pick up lines attributed to that statement and, we continue to get away with it continously..
It (sex) is the only thing done by humans, and dolphins for fun (apparently).
And since winter's just begun over here..it's literally mating season right now na na!!!! everybody's in heat,if my assumption serves me right, there's bound to be a baby boom in the near future (nine months from now to be exact)..and telling from the drunk/heavily under the influence people i see hooking up after clubbing, no offense, but i can honestly say these are gonna be some stupid babies...reminds of of the movies - Hills have eyes & Wrong turn..
